Motobatt batteries utilize Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, a design that has redefined the powersports industry. The QuadFlex design features a unique four-terminal configuration (two positive, two negative) combined with height spacers for near-universal fitment. All Motobatt AGM Batteries are maintenance-free, non-hazardous, non-spill, and arrive fully charged and ready to install.

Each plate within the battery is encased in a fibrous glass matting, absorbing all liquid electrolyte and providing a cushioned separation. This prevents plate vibration, which can lead to short circuits and battery failure. The heavy-duty plates used in Motobatt batteries are a key factor in their longevity and performance.

AGM batteries inherently have a lower self-discharge rate compared to traditional flooded batteries. As a higher amp hour AGM battery, the Motobatt battery can withstand deeper discharges and recover repeatedly under the vehicle alternator or through maintenance charging, something that a standard flooded cell battery is not capable of.
