QuadFlex Technology

Motobatt's QuadFlex design utilizes Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, a groundbreaking approach in the motorcycle, ATV, lawnmower, and small engine sectors. This design features a four-terminal layout with two positive and two negative terminals, complemented by height spacers for near-universal fitment. All Motobatt AGM Batteries are maintenance-free, non-hazardous, non-spill, and come charged and ready for installation directly out of the box.

Each plate within the battery is encased in a fibrous glass matting, absorbing all liquid electrolyte and maintaining plate separation within a cushioned environment. This prevents plate vibration, which can lead to breakdowns, short circuits, or fractured welds, resulting in battery failure. The robust, heavy-duty plates used in Motobatt designs make all the difference.

AGM batteries also exhibit a significantly lower self-discharge rate compared to traditional wet flooded types. As a higher amp hour AGM battery, the Motobatt battery can withstand deeper discharges and repeated recoveries under the vehicle's alternator charge or through maintenance charging, a capability that standard flooded cell batteries cannot endure without premature failure.
