QuadFlex Technology

Motobatt batteries utilize Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, a design revolutionizing the motorcycle, ATV, lawnmower, and small engine industry. The QuadFlex design features a four-terminal configuration with two positives and two negatives, alongside height spacers for a near-universal fit. All Motobatt AGM Batteries are maintenance-free, non-hazardous, non-spill, and arrive charged and ready to install.

Each plate within the battery is encased in a fibrous glass matting, which absorbs liquid electrolyte and separates the plates in a cushioned environment. This reduces plate vibration, preventing breakdown and short circuits that lead to battery failure. The thick, heavy plates used in Motobatt designs make a considerable difference to the battery's lifespan.

AGM batteries exhibit a significantly lower self-discharge rate than wet flooded types. With a higher amp hour rating, the Motobatt battery can discharge more deeply and recover repeatedly under the vehicle alternator or through maintenance charging. Standard flooded cell batteries cannot withstand this type of cycling without premature failure.
