Motobatt batteries leverage Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, which has transformed the motorcycle, ATV, lawnmower, and small engine battery landscape. QuadFlex features a unique four-terminal design (two positive, two negative) along with height spacers for near-universal fitment. All Motobatt AGM Batteries are maintenance-free, non-hazardous, non-spill, and arrive charged and ready for immediate installation.

Each battery plate is encased in a fibrous glass matting, absorbing all liquid electrolyte and providing cushioned separation. This mitigates plate vibration, which is a leading cause of plate breakdown, short circuits, and weld failures leading to battery malfunction. The use of thick, heavy plates distinguishes Motobatt designs.

AGM batteries also exhibit significantly lower self-discharge rates compared to wet flooded batteries. As a higher amp hour AGM battery, the Motobatt can withstand deeper discharges and recover effectively under vehicle alternator charging or through maintenance charging. Standard flooded cell batteries are not capable of enduring this type of cycling without premature failure.
