Quadflex Technology

Motobatt batteries utilize Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, a revolutionary design for the motorcycle, ATV, lawnmower, and small engine sectors. QuadFlex features a unique four-terminal design—two positive, two negative—along with height spacers for near-universal fitment. All Motobatt AGM batteries are maintenance-free, non-hazardous, non-spill, and arrive pre-charged, ready for immediate installation.

Each battery plate is encased in a fibrous glass matting, absorbing all liquid electrolyte and providing a cushioned separation. This prevents plate vibration, which can lead to plate breakdown, short circuits, or broken plate welds, ultimately causing battery failure. The robust, heavy plates used in Motobatt designs are a key differentiator.

AGM batteries also exhibit a significantly lower self-discharge rate compared to wet flooded types.
