QuadFlex Technology

Motobatt batteries utilize Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, a design that has revolutionised the motorcycle, ATV, lawnmower, and small engine industries. QuadFlex offers a distinctive four-terminal design, featuring two positives and two negatives, along with height spacers for near-universal fitment. All Motobatt AGM Batteries are maintenance-free, non-hazardous, non-spill, and arrive charged and ready for installation.

Each plate within the battery is encased in a fibrous glass matting, which fully absorbs the liquid electrolyte and provides a cushioned environment. This prevents plate vibration, a common cause of plate breakdown, short circuits, and broken plate welds, all of which lead to battery failure. The thick, heavy plates used in Motobatt designs make a significant difference in battery lifespan and performance.

AGM batteries also exhibit a much lower self-discharge rate compared to traditional wet flooded batteries. As a higher amp hour AGM battery, the Motobatt battery can withstand deeper discharges and recover repeatedly under the vehicle's alternator charge or through maintenance charging. Standard flooded cell batteries are not capable of enduring this type of cycling without premature failure.
