QuadFlex Technology

Motobatt batteries are manufactured using Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, a design that has revolutionized the motorcycle, ATV, lawnmower, and small engine industries. QuadFlex provides a unique four-terminal design with two positives, two negatives, along with height spacers for a near-universal fit. All Motobatt AGM Batteries are maintenance-free, non-hazardous, non-spill, and come charged and ready to install straight out of the box.

Each plate within the battery is wrapped in a fibrous glass matting. This matting not only absorbs all liquid electrolyte but also keeps the plates separated in a cushioned environment. This prevents plate vibration, which can break down the plate, cause short circuits between the plates, or break plate welds, leading to battery failure. The thick, heavy plates used in Motobatt designs truly make a difference.

AGM batteries also exhibit a much lower inherent self-discharge rate compared to wet flooded types. As a higher amp hour AGM battery, the Motobatt battery can discharge more deeply and recover repeatedly under the vehicle's alternator charge or through maintenance charging. A standard flooded cell battery is not capable of withstanding this type of cycling without premature failure.
