Quadflex Technology

Motobatt batteries utilize Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, a revolutionary design for motorcycles, ATVs, lawnmowers, and other small engines. The QuadFlex design features a four-terminal configuration (two positive, two negative) combined with height spacers, offering a near-universal fit. All Motobatt AGM Batteries are maintenance-free, non-hazardous, non-spill, and arrive fully charged, ready for immediate installation.

Each plate within the battery is encased in a fibrous glass matting. This matting not only absorbs all liquid electrolyte but also provides cushioning and separation between the plates. This prevents vibration-induced damage, such as plate breakdown and short circuits, which are common causes of battery failure. The thick, heavy plates used in Motobatt designs provide robustness.

AGM batteries exhibit a significantly lower self-discharge rate compared to traditional flooded batteries.
